Privacy Policy

1. Overview

Humanize AI is a mobile application operated by Chako LTD ("we," "us," or "our"). This Privacy Policy applies to the Humanize AI app, its support site, and the backend services used to provide humanization, AI detection, plagiarism checking, authentication, usage limits, and subscriptions.

By using the app, you acknowledge the processing described in this policy. If you do not agree, do not submit content or create an account.

2. Information we process

Account information

If you create or link an account, we process your Firebase user identifier and, depending on the sign-in method, your email address, display name, and authentication provider. Passwords and third-party sign-in credentials are handled by Firebase Authentication, Apple, or Google. We do not receive your Apple or Google password.

Usage and security information

We process an account or device identifier, usage counters, request timestamps, subscription status, app platform, and App Check attestation data. This information helps enforce usage limits, unlock paid features, prevent abuse, and protect the service. Our backend stores a hashed device identifier rather than the original device identifier when device-based access is used.

Support information

If you contact us, we receive the information you provide, such as your email address, account email, device platform, and support message. Please do not send passwords, payment-card details, or private documents by email.

Payment information

Purchases are processed by Apple or Google. Subscription-management services may provide us with product, entitlement, renewal, and transaction-reference information. We do not receive or store your full payment-card number.

3. Submitted content

When you choose Humanize, Detect, or Plagiarism, the text you submit is sent over an encrypted connection to our backend and the relevant processing provider so the requested result can be returned.

• Humanization: submitted text and selected writing style are processed by TextToHuman services.
• AI detection: submitted text is processed by our detection service, including Detecting AI technology.
• Plagiarism checking: submitted text is processed to compare it with available sources and return potential matches.

Humanize AI does not intentionally publish submitted content, add it to a public corpus, or make it visible to other users. We do not create a server-side document history from submitted text. Providers may process limited request data as needed for service delivery, security, fraud prevention, and legal compliance under their applicable agreements and policies.

Photos, PDFs, and documents

When you select a photo, PDF, or supported document, text extraction takes place on your device. The original file is not uploaded by the import feature. Extracted text is sent only after you choose to run one of the app's processing tools.

4. Service providers

We use service providers only where needed to operate the app:

• Google Firebase and Google Cloud: authentication, App Check, hosting, backend processing, and usage records.
• Apple and Google: sign-in services, app distribution, payments, and subscription management.
• RevenueCat: subscription entitlement management when paid plans are enabled.
• TextToHuman and Detecting AI services: text humanization, AI detection, and plagiarism analysis.

These providers may process information in countries other than your own. We use reasonable safeguards appropriate to the service and applicable law.

5. Retention and deletion

We keep account records, subscription entitlement information, security records, and usage counters only as long as reasonably needed to operate the service, prevent abuse, meet legal obligations, and resolve disputes. Support correspondence may be kept while a request is active and for a reasonable period afterward.

You may request account deletion from the app or from our account deletion page. After we verify the request, we delete or anonymize account data under our control unless a limited record must be retained for legal, security, fraud-prevention, or accounting reasons. Apple and Google retain transaction records under their own policies.

6. Your rights and choices

Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, or object to the processing of your personal information, and to request a portable copy. You may also have the right to complain to your local data-protection authority.

7. Children

Humanize AI is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from a child under 13 without any consent required by applicable law. If you believe a child has provided account information, contact us so we can review and delete it.

8. Security and policy updates

We use encrypted transport, authenticated backend access, device attestation, and access controls designed to protect information. No online service can guarantee absolute security.

We may update this policy when the app, providers, or legal requirements change. We will update the date at the top and provide additional notice when required.
